The Cayman Islands are part of the British West Indies located in the Western Caribbean, 480 miles southwest of Miami, Florida and 150 miles southwest of Cuba. The country consists of three islands, the largest being Grand Cayman.

Grand Cayman is about 22 miles long and 8 miles wide and it's discovery dates back to pirate days. Its major city is George Town on the south west corner of the island.

Our condo is located on the north side of Grand Cayman near Rum Point in the exclusive, upscale Cayman Kai neighborhood. It is next door to the Kaibo Yacht Club which is open to the public. Rum Point and Cayman Kai are quiet neighborhoods of private beach front homes, cottages and small condominium projects. There are no hotels in this part of the island.

This is a water oriented community with every home site backing up to the beautiful and protected North Sound Bay.

From the airport to the condo is about 21 miles -- about a 40 minute scenic drive. Roads are good - driving is on the left.

Within walking distance or a short drive are restaurants, a dive shop, botanical gardens and a small grocery store.
